Intent to Register
Completing the Intent to Register (ITR) process lets Western know a student's preference for the next academic year. Students can indicate their program and/or module, as well as their course load (full or part time). It is mandatory for current first year students to complete the ITR. Upper year students can complete the ITR if there will be change in their preference. If they are just continuing in the same, they do not need to complete the ITR.
Online submission deadline is March 31 (extended to April 30, 2020, due to COVID19). ONLINE FORM
Online submission is the best way but there are exceptions when paper forms are needed:
- Second degree students
- For other exceptions, click here
Scholars' Electives and Western Scholars
Students do not need to complete an ITR unless they want to make changes to their program. Changes can be made through the online ITR process. SE and WS students needing assistance should make an appointment with Gail Wright (519-661-2053) to discuss their program.
Concurrent Degrees: consult the Dean's Office for assistance.
